Meribel is situated in the heart of the 3 Valleys so access to all areas couldn’t be easier. Although Meribel as a resort is large in size, the construction is that of a traditional alpine village, with many picturesque freestanding chalets. Mottaret, located just above the main town of Meribel at 1750m, is a series of medium sized, low level buildings, almost all with doorstep skiing and a variety of bars, restaurants and shops and a very friendly village atmosphere.back to top

Meribel is a perfect resort for families with children of all ages. The ski area is amazing; there is the large Altiport area for beginners. It is covered in green and blue runs. There are some great British speaking ski schools, which provide group lessons for adults and children, as well as private classes. For those with smaller children, there are plenty of childcare options, and chalets that are specifically suited to families, where private nannies can be booked. There is easy access to the slopes and ski school meeting points. Many of the chalets are close to the slope, and for those a little further away there are minibus driver services, and a free local bus.back to top
