St Moritz, nestled in the centre of the Engadine valley, boasts more than 350 kilometres of groomed piste in four interconnected ski areas. There are endless opportunities both on and off piste, for skiers of all ages and abilities. The quality of these pistes, which are studded with several gastronomic restaurants, makes St Moritz one of the most fashionable resorts in the Alps.
The town is split into two distinctive areas, St. Moritz Dorf, the sophisticated town with its fashionable shops and boutiques and the quieter St. Moritz Bad, located next to the spectacular frozen lake. The town doesn't have the Swiss chocolate box image of a classic resort but the spectacular setting is worth a visit alone but beware - the resort is exclusive and very pricey!back to top
